They did stand to lose a dime. I read the article you posted and basically Microsoft paid $50 million to make the DLC exclusive. Microsoft will start making 30% of whatever DLC sells, but that won't even come close to making up for what they spent. Rockstar isn't giving Microsoft the first $50 million they make. Basically Rockstar may end up with close to $80 million dollars because of this deal, and Microsoft will have lost like $40 million.
Well Microsoft has already proven in the past many times that money comes before all else, so this really shouldn't be a surprise. Even if it is obnoxious and reaking of vag cheese

This can't be that good, cause the bottom line is a DVD only has so much space and so much information on it and you can't just magically add all that extra information with an upscaler. 10 minute installation for the best FPS of the year? I'll take that any day. And there may very well be split screen online like Warhawk, cause a dev said they didn't have time to get it into the first one since it was a launch game but to expect it in their future games. The 360 really has no hope at this point, after NG2 completely flopped, besides Gears 2. I almost feel bad for them
